Very interesting and personal for me as a professional photographer and former photojournalist. I’ve been in situations where that type of thing might have happened. Although my time as a PJ was many years ago before the digital revolution where everybody and their Uncle Charlie has access to still and video recording.

Bottom line is that when a police officer tells you to stop, don’t start quoting your 1st amendment rights or you could end up banged around, in handcuffs and laying all night in a filthy drunk tank with men dressed as women and worse as your cellmates. Doesn’t sound like fun, does it? Like it or not-the authorities are in charge. Don’t want to end up hungry and thirsty, in dirty clothes, unable to use a bathroom when needed, and standing in front of a magistrate looking like a low life after 17 1/2 hours in the tank, then do what the officer says and do it quickly without getting all sanctimonious about your rights. Those are the realities Prof Larry.
