While most Republicans have consistently urged Congressman Anthony Weiner to resign, Democrats seem to be split. Many have called for the initiation of a House Ethics Proceeding, yet most of them have not urged him to resign. While Weiner could become a poster child for Republican campaign ads, they would be hypocritical in doing so. Just think of Republican sex scandals involving Larry Craig, David Vitter, Mark Sanford, Mark Foley, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chris Lee, Mark Souder, Bob Packwood, Newt Gingrich, John Ensign, Rudy Giuliani, and Jim Gibbons. No doubt, there should be a House Ethics investigation, but at this point should Democrats force Weiner to resign? What are your thoughts?

When I saw him this past year screaming about “not yielding his time to the gentleman” while at the podium in congress I knew there were several screws that had been tightened a little loosely. It was the way he did it, obviously in a self-centered attention seeking manner.
Then he kept presenting himself so arrogantly for interviews and thinking he could get away this. It was extremely embarrassing, and made people squirm.
When you present that long list of Republicans don’t forget the big Dems either (John Edwards, Billy the perv Clinton et al). It was fascinating to see Elliot Spitzer reporting so clearly and calmly on this subject. I guess in this case he really is an “expert” commentator.
Yes————————– ritual political circumcision for this nut case!! I want blood drawn from the wiener of Weiner.
Then he can get a new job at CNN or MSNBC, or maybe go to work for the Clintons and Obamas. The Huffington folks might have an opening also.
It must make liberals wretch to see Breitbart vindicated.
