Excellent advice Professor Atkins, and very well presented. My nephew did this in college (www.sportsfanbase.com) and has had some success, although lately he has become very busy with a new job and a new marriage. I also just set up the 1st website for my business (actually my daughter did it as a birthday gift), and realize now that I’ve waited much too long to do it. This should have been done years ago. Procrastination is a sinful disease. It has hurt my career progress several times.

By the way…love Go Daddy, hate WordPress (much too convoluted in it’s logic).

  2. Yes, I got a mention! Great article, Larry, couldn’t agree more.

    Professor Larry,

Great article and glad you’re using WordPress. Have you considered integrating Facebook– it’s simple and drives traffic like crazy. Show that to your students or perhaps they are already doing so.
