Vacation’s All Obama Wanted

Conservatives have complained about pretty much everything President Obama has done. The latest criticism is that he shouldn’t be taking a vacation in Martha’s Vineyard while the country is in recession. Give the guy a break. At this point in his Presidency, George W. Bush had taken over twice as many vacation days as Obama (see Bush golf photo below). Ronald Reagan took plenty of time off at his Presidential Ranch. While Michelle Obama’s European trip might have been a bad public relations move, this New England trip is totally appropriate. President Obama is human and needs to recharge his batteries just like anyone else.  Do you expect him or any President to go to a Motel 6 in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey? What’s your opinion about Obama’s vacation? Is it appropriate? Please comment below.

  1. No President should ever go on vacation. If you want to go on vacation, then don’t become a U.S. President. It’s just a sacrifice you have to make.

That said, it’s not a huge deal to me. If Obama actually had a clue as to what was going on, wasn’t siding with terrorists and wasn’t putting our country into horrific debt, I’d actually like him.

  2. Jackson Kapp says:

I’m going on my only vacation this year to Wampum, PA the boyhood home of Dick Allen tomorrow. Maybe Barak and the girls can join me since he likes to take so much time off.

By the way…I like this Walter Cherepinsky-he’s a radical mutha-shut your mouth. Hey I would like Barak Obama too, but I think he would be better off as a 2nd round draft pick in the JCC over 50 b-ball league than President of the United States of America for God’s sake. And once 9/11 hit W stopped taking so much time off when he realized that he actually had a job to do.

  3. Thanks Jack! Radical is the only way to go. I did love your quote, “liberalism is a disease.” Very true.
