On August 28th, radio talk show host Glenn Beck will hold his “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial, exactly 47 years after Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his iconic “I Have A Dream Speech.” Beck claims that the goal of the event is to restore America’s honor and to pay tribute to military families. He also plans to announce his 100 year plan for America. Beck will be joined onstage as a featured speaker by fellow loon Sarah Palin. It’s expected that over 300,000 fellow Tea Party, Obama-hating people will attend Beck’s KookStock. I’m a strong advocate of the First Amendment, so I think it’s totally appropriate that Beck hold his rally on the anniversary of Dr. King’s speech, even though I think he’s a hate-mongering nut and many civil rights advocates are objecting to it. So bring your pitchforks, Federalist Papers, gold coins and survival meals that you bought from Beck’s sponsors, Confederate Flags, and kleenex (to cry along with Beck during his speech). And just remember that we’ve got to get ourselves back to the gun shop, as Joni Mitchell and Crosby, Stills, and Nash wouldn’t say. Is Beck a visionary or a moron? What do you think about the event?

People in the tea party don’t hate Obama; they hate his idiotic and myopic policies. They believe that you shouldn’t be penalized for working hard. What a crazy concept?
Glenn Beck is a moron though. He gives Republicans a bad name.
Speaking of which, it’s worth noting that Martin Luther King Jr. supported the Republican party
Glen Beck is dangerous. To call him a moron is a misnomer. Unfortunately, he sometimes makes some good points in his rantings, and there are a lot of morons who are impressed with that. If Sarah Palin or Beck ever get power, I’m going to became a bleeding heart hippie liberal again like I was in the 60s and 70s. I’m going to wear a Dashiki with bellbottom pants and grow a big afro. Well maybe just the Dashiki and pants.
